Day - to - Day
Simulating the Motion Planning and Controls systems and how they impact vehicle dynamics
Studying controller or estimator data that comes from our autonomous fleet to assess on-road performance
Design of tools that help us assess performance or system behavior
Qualifications
Master's/Phd Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Deep knowledge about various motion planning techniques, i.e. lattice graph search, trajectory sampling, trajectory optimization, and their respective strengths and limits.
Strong analytical skills in linear algebra, geometry and probability
Strong C++ / Rust software development skills.
Experience developing software under strong realtime performance requirements.
Strong team player, comfortable working in a vibrant, diverse and interdisciplinary team
