BlueSpace.ai is building the next generation of self-driving technology to create safety certainty needed for truly driverless vehicles. Our patented 4D Predictive Perception enables this by calculating all objects’ motion from next-gen 4D sensors. BlueSpace.ai’s team brings experience from all over the autonomous vehicles (AV) industry, including OEMs, world class research institutions, and autonomous driving companies. 

Day - to - Day

  • Simulating the Motion Planning and Controls systems and how they impact vehicle dynamics

  • Studying controller or estimator data that comes from our autonomous fleet to assess on-road performance

  • Design of tools that help us assess performance or system behavior


Qualifications

  • Master's/Phd Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Deep knowledge about various motion planning techniques, i.e. lattice graph search, trajectory sampling, trajectory optimization, and their respective strengths and limits.

  • Strong analytical skills in linear algebra, geometry and probability

  • Strong C++ / Rust software development skills.

  • Experience developing software under strong realtime performance requirements.

  • Strong team player, comfortable working in a vibrant, diverse and interdisciplinary team
