BlueSpace.ai’s team brings experience from all over the autonomous vehicles (AV) industry, including OEMs, world class research institutions, and autonomous driving companies. 

 Day - to - Day

  • Drive the requirements definition, analysis, development and documentation of feature technical specifications

  • Conduct feature scoping assessments, define use cases and performance measurements

  • Define system interfaces between key components

  • Translate system requirements and implementation architecture into testable product requirements and design specifications

  • Manage traceability between security strategy and security requirements

  • Analyze validation test evidence to challenge assumptions and harden requirement rationales

  • Lead technical discussions, build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams and relevant internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of combined experience as an embedded systems engineer, embedded software engineer, or similar roles.

  • Deep understanding of Linux operating system internals with experience building kernels, compiling drivers, providing performance tuning guidance and crash analysis.

  • Proven knowledge of Linux kernel internals (process scheduler, memory management, concurrency/synchronization, memory allocation, file systems), networking, and storage subsystems architecture.

  • Skilled with C/C++.

  • Familiarity with modern configuration management tools like Docker.

  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools like Jenkins, gitlab runners, Phabricator etc.

  • Familiarity with AWS. 

  • Awareness of industry best operations practices regarding OS deployment, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging.

  • Strong team player, comfortable working in a vibrant, diverse and interdisciplinary team.
