Day - to - Day
Drive the requirements definition, analysis, development and documentation of feature technical specifications
Conduct feature scoping assessments, define use cases and performance measurements
Define system interfaces between key components
Translate system requirements and implementation architecture into testable product requirements and design specifications
Manage traceability between security strategy and security requirements
Analyze validation test evidence to challenge assumptions and harden requirement rationales
Lead technical discussions, build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams and relevant internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ years of combined experience as an embedded systems engineer, embedded software engineer, or similar roles.
Deep understanding of Linux operating system internals with experience building kernels, compiling drivers, providing performance tuning guidance and crash analysis.
Proven knowledge of Linux kernel internals (process scheduler, memory management, concurrency/synchronization, memory allocation, file systems), networking, and storage subsystems architecture.
Skilled with C/C++.
Familiarity with modern configuration management tools like Docker.
Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools like Jenkins, gitlab runners, Phabricator etc.
Familiarity with AWS.
Awareness of industry best operations practices regarding OS deployment, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Strong team player, comfortable working in a vibrant, diverse and interdisciplinary team.
