State Estimation/Mapping Engineer

BlueSpace.ai is building the next generation of self-driving technology to create safety certainty needed for truly driverless vehicles. BlueSpace.ai’s team brings experience from all over the autonomous vehicles (AV) industry, including OEMs, world class research institutions, and autonomous driving companies. 

 Day - to - Day

• Develop, deploy, and scale both online and offline state-estimation algorithms for real-world robotic systems.

• Build software, tools, and processes that accelerate your rate of experimentation, monitor performance, and inform what to try next.

• Work with large quantities of sensor data on challenging real-world problems.

• Collaborate with the team to deploy your work in a mission critical environment.

 Qualifications

• 5+ Years of industry experience and a Master's/Phd Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

• Deep knowledge about various state estimation techniques, including but not limited to: Kalman Filter and its variations, particle filter, SLAM, dead-reckoning, and Odometry.

• Strong analytical skills in linear algebra, geometry and probability

• Strong C++ software development skills.

• Experience developing software under strong realtime performance requirements.

• Strong team player, comfortable working in a vibrant, diverse and interdisciplinary team.
